The final livelhood unit as a part of the bamboo construction technologies  set is the Bamboo Construction livelihoods unit. This unit consists of  about 15 youth specially trained in carrying out various activities related to in-situ construction work. They put in place the prefabricated components from columns  to trusses and the walling, tie and bracing members in between  to  assemble to structure as per design.

The workforce has the experience of  executing work both within the village limits and beyond.  These teams have started taking up assignments of varied types, uses, dimensions and complexities. Over the past one year, we have been improving on both the workmanship and timelines of execution.  We hope to develop independent teams under lead craftspersons  to undertake several  works simultaneously.
